About

Hello, I’m Lauren Johanneson, a senior at the University of San Diego studying Marketing with a minor in Business Administration. I’ve always been fascinated by what inspires people and how brands can create meaningful connections with their audience. Marketing feels like the perfect combination of creativity, communication, and strategy to create value.

In 2024, I joined The Valhalla Fund as a Marketing Coordinator, where I led a full redesign of their website and independently managed their online fundraising auction. I built out the structure, created the listings, promoted the event, and helped raise over $20,000 in just two weeks. â€‹In 2025, I supported a week-long Scooter Cannonball trip from Seaside, Oregon to South Padre Island, Texas, handling the technical and logistical side of the journey. I built custom ride routes, planned stops, created support and help routes, and helped guide the team every day of the trip. I also managed Facebook ads and updated digital content to increase visibility and community engagement before and during the event.

Beyond The Valhalla Fund, I’ve gained experience in customer-facing roles that shaped the way I communicate, solve problems, and connect with others. Whether it was hosting at a busy restaurant or supporting high-volume food service, I learned how to  multitask, yet treating every interaction and task with care. Those experiences during my high school years gave me a strong foundation of communication skills that I bring into any project I work on.

On a personal level, I’m someone who values purpose, faith, and relationships. I love surrounding myself with people who inspire me and stepping into opportunities that seem uncomfortable, for those moments develop the most growth.

As I step into the next chapter of my career, I’m excited to bring my creativity and  leadership skill into new opportunities across marketing, brand storytelling, and digital strategy.
